Informal Birthday Celebrations During Open Play

We now have two options for birthday celebrations at MonkeyTown - Private Birthday Parties & Semi-Private parties during Open Play.    If you want to celebrate your child's birthday at MonkeyTown during open play, we encourage you to rent a private party room for you and your guests. 

However, should you choose to have a small, informal gathering during our Open Play hours, please follow these rules:

1.    Since everyone is welcome to come in and play during Open Play hours, please remember that admission is subject to capacity.

2.    To be considerate to other guests, we ask that you limit your stay in the Snack Area to 20 minutes and one table. 

3.    We ask that you choose cupcakes over a cake.  Cupcakes are small and do not require much effort to serve.  Plus they are really yummy!  We ask that you bring any plates or cutlery that you may need.

4.    Please do not have food delivered to MonkeyTown.  Our staff and entrance area can get very busy and we do not have ability the to manage deliveries.  Also, hot food can be very hard to manage during busier open play hours.

5.    Sorry, we do not permit gifts to be stored or opened in MonkeyTown during open play, except in a booked private party room.  We know presents are an important part of a child’s birthday, but we do not have sufficient room nor can we be responsible for loss or theft in the playspace. 

6.    Please no balloons or decorations – we do not have room during open play.
